Join the Sustainability Office and other local organizations for Bike Day on June 21st from 8AM to 3PM. Bike Day is a campus-wide event to provide employees and students with the tools, resources, and encouragement necessary to bike to school or work.

Come celebrate your efforts of biking to work, school or for leisure and help promote sustainable commuting to our campus. Check out all the details below!

DETAILS

  • Free breakfast snacks will be provided for those who bike to school or work (first come, first serve!)
  • Free bike tune-ups will be available 
  • There will be several booths from across the Region including:
    • Region of Waterloo - Showcasing the Region's Transportation Demand Management Plan called "Moving Forward" for showing residents what the future of transportation will look like in the Region. 
    • King Street Cycles - Free tune-ups 
    • Community Access Bikeshare (CAB) - Will discuss the launch of our new CAB stations around campus and the greater community. 
    • TravelWise - Available to answer any questions you have about commuting to work or school and your access to gotravelwise.ca
  • PRIZES including giveaways, gift cards, and more!
