Sustainable Waterloo Region is hosting Paul Rak, President and Sustainability Leader of Veriform, for a discussion on how Veriform uses cost reduction calculations to boost its projects. Paul will also provide insight about balancing finance and sustainability to maximize the return on your investment and get management on board.
Paul is also the owner of several manufacturing companies and has over 300 energy projects of experience. He has won numerous awards, including the 2009 Cambridge Chamber Business Excellence Award in Sustainability, and has been a keynote speaker at over 70 sustainability events across Canada and the US in the last 10 years. His company, Veriform, was the fourth to achieve ISO 50001 in Canada, and the first industrial firm in the region to become carbon neutral, whereby over 75% of CO2 reductions were achieved through actual energy reductions.
