Virtual Earth Hour 2021: Trivia Night

Earth Hour is an annual global movement that encourages you to power down for one hour to celebrate our natural environment. This year, join our Green Residence Ambassadors for a fun virtual trivia night for a chance to win prizes and brainstorm fun activities to do right before you power down!

Trivia winners will be awarded WatCard top-ups, with the first place winner receiving a $50 top-up and the four runner-ups receiving a $25 top-up! See full terms and conditions below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility:

  • You must be a student or employee at the University of Waterloo, aged 18 years or older and residing in Ontario to be eligible for the prize draw.

Details:

  • The event will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 7:30pm to 8:15pm EST. 

Winner Selection:

  • The winners will awarded based on their Kahoot trivia score, with the first place winner receiving a $50 WatCard top-up and the four runners-up receiving a $25 WatCard top-up.
  • The winners will be selected immediately after the Kahoot trivia game.
  • The selected winner must answer a skill testing question correctly and provide details to complete WatCard top-up reporting form before obtaining the prize and being declared winner. If incorrectly answered, the participant with the next highest score will be contacted.
