Jean Andrey, Dean of Environment, has issued the #1000GreenUW campus-wide challenge to the University of Waterloo community in the lead up to Earth Day (April 22nd).
Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to share their everyday actions, big or small, that contribute to building a more sustainable future. Participation is easy:
- Take a picture of your sustainable actions
- Hashtag #1000GreenUW and your department or faculty
- Post to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram
There
are
several events
occurring
throughout
April
to
support
the
campaign,
and
all
participants
will
be
entered
into
a
weekly
prize
draw.
