Patricia Huynh leads the coordination, development and implementation of projects that advance campus sustainability within the context of the Environmental Sustainability Strategy and Campus Climate Action Plan. Patricia provides primary support for the Sustainability Living Lab framework to link academic research and learning opportunities with tangible, on-campus pilot, demonstration, and deployment projects. 

Patricia brings experience from Trout Unlimited Canada as a biologist, Conservation Halton as a program instructor, and Nature Conservancy of Canada as an engagement coordinator intern.  

Patricia remains active in community networks related to sustainability, including:

  • Member of the Ontario College and University Sustainability Professionals
  • Member of the Conservation and Restoration Ecology Lab at the University of Waterloo

  • Former Living Documents Coordinator at Sustainable Waterloo Region

  • Former Education Coordinator at Laurel Creek Citizens’ Working Group

  • Former LoveMyHood Matching Grant Selection Committee volunteer
