Monday, July 1st is Canada Day, a statutory holiday celebrating the country's Confederation. As a result, all classes are cancelled. During the holiday long weekend, most campus operations will either be closed or have modified operating hours. For further details, refer to the Daily Bulletin.
Incoming first-year students:
- Your proof of enrolment will be available in Quest in July, following the release of your course schedule. This document can be submitted directly to your RESP provider, instead of having The Centre complete the verification.

Service Canada SIN Clinics for 2024

Service Canada representatives will be in The Centre issuing and renewing SINs for Waterloo students.

Clinics take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. To book an appointment; drop by The Centre, call 519-888-4567, ext. 42268, or book online via Portal (available beginning at noon, the day prior to the appointment).

International Students: don't forget to bring your original passport, your original study permit and (if applicable) original work permit.

Canadian Citizens: must bring two pieces of valid Government issued identification, one of which must have a photo.

We recommend booking your same-day appointment early in the morning as appointment times fill up quickly.
