The Centre for Community, Clinical and Applied Research Excellence (CCCARE) embraces a team approach in all facets of our programs.
We value and respect collaborations amongst our community members, staff, volunteers, students, partners and faculty. We are a cohesive group that works toward optimizing health in our participants. Ultimately, we celebrate our goals as a Centre, as teams and as individuals.
By working together, we advance our understanding of different diseases and health conditions to deliver innovative and comprehensive programs in a relaxed and private environment such as our:
- UW WELL-FIT cancer exercise programs including our remote and in-person START-FIT program and STAY-FIT graduate program.
- Brain and Body
- STEPS
Many of our staff and researchers are members of the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Health Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences. To accomplish these goals, we collaborate with numerous departments and schools across campus in addition to our national and internationals collaborations.
