Functional Strength and Fitness program

This 8-week program welcomes all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced exercisers. Each class introduces functional resistance training that can be tailored to your abilities, helping you progress safely and effectively. Led by certified fitness professionals, the program focuses on improving strength, mobility, and overall health.

Cost: $119+HST 25% off for staff through the Staff Excellence Fund Subsidy

Start date: January 19th (8-week session)

Functional Boot Camp

Challenge your body and re-energize your routine with this 4-week 30-minute class! This dynamic class blends strength, cardio, and mobility training through functional movements that improve everyday performance. Expect motivating circuits, intervals, and group challenges that keep workouts fun and engaging. Led by expert instructors, the program is scalable for all fitness levels. Build endurance, boost cardiovascular fitness, and enhance balance, coordination, and agility in a supportive environment.

Cost: $39+HST 25% off for staff through the Staff Excellence Fund Subsidy

Start dates: January 19th and Feb 23rd (4-week session each)

Registration

CCCARE uses a secure registration and payment system to take online credit card payments for our exercise programs. This registration system has existed on our University of Waterloo campus for over a decade and has been approved by our UW finance department for our use.

Please review the Get Active Questionnaire before completing registration. If you have answered yes to any of the questions, contact fitness staff to book a virtual consultation before registering. 

Pay your fee online to secure your registration. You will have to first “Sign In” (top right corner) and then click the black button labelled "UW WATIAM USERS" to sign in using your WATIAM credentials before you can register and pay.

Once signed in, you will find our programs under the “Fitness Services” icon. Go to “UW Staff and Faculty Training” or and select the desired program to complete your registration. 

Next, you will be taken to a cart checkout and payment portal to input your credit card information. After you’ve paid, you will receive an electronic receipt to your email from khsreg@uwaterloo.ca, so be sure to check your junk mail if you don’t see your receipt.
