HAM-03: Decarbonization approaches for City owned facilities

Brief description of the organization

The City of Hamilton is a municipal organization with a mission to provide high quality cost conscious public services that contribute to a healthy, safe and prosperous community, in a sustainable manner.


Problem area

The City's Facilities capital construction team is looking to enhance our construction cost estimation practices.


Main objectives

Develop a tool/program that can be used to prepare capital construction cost estimates for municipal facilities.


Scope of work

Complete an environmental scan/desktop review of existing resources and tools to help build a new tool for the City's use that is easy to use and provides sufficient backup for the financial budget results.

New process and tool/budget estimate software
