Team leads
As team lead, you are an integral part of the WE Accelerate experience. You work closely with staff from across the Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE) portfolio including Co-operative Education, the Centre for Career Development (CCD), and the Centre for Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). You also work with industry collaborators for their stream.
You help students develop their skills and prepare for future job searches. You support students as they progress through WE Accelerate career curriculum content and skills training. You'll also lead small groups of students as they practice what they’ve learned and work to tackle real-life projects supplied and assessed by industry collaborators. Finally, you provide ongoing feedback and assist with the continued development of the WE Accelerate program.
What you’ll do
WE Accelerate team leads have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Leading small groups of students through career curriculum content, skills training, and project-based work-integrated learning experiences.

Working with internal and external project stakeholders to provide technical insight and a student perspective during program development.

Moderating workshops and meetings within their stream and tracking student progress.

Responding to student inquiries and escalating questions to CEE staff as required.

Supporting students who may be feeling anxiety, nervousness, insecurity, or changing expectations about their co-op journey.
