Dr. Raafat R. Mansour received the BSc and MSc degrees from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1977 and 1981, respectively, and the PhD degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in 1986 — all in electrical engineering.
Jaouad received the B.S in physical science from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Beni-Mellal, Morocco in 2007. In 2009, he received his Master's degree in high frequency electronics and optics technology from the University of Limoges (France), and a Ph.D.

Dr. Luis Gutierrez joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Waterloo in April 2017 as the manager of the RF micro-electro-mechanical systems (RF MEMS) laboratory and clean room at the Centre for Integrated RF Engineering (CIRFE). He bears responsibility for the operation, maintenance, lab user training, administration, and promotion of CIRFE's test and fabrication facilities. Dr. Gutierrez (L. Gutierrez-Rivera) uses his expertise as a Research and Development Engineer to assist the individual members of the research group and external customers in the successful completion of their projects.
Gowrish B., received his MTech degree (2013) in RF Design and Technology from CARE, Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi, India. He worked as a Systems Engineer at Cypress Semiconductors till 2014 and worked as a Scientist/Engineer in Communication Systems Group at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Satellite Centre, Bangalore from 2014 to 2017.
Hassan received his BSc and MSc in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran in 2012 and 2015, respectively. His BSc thesis was on optimization algorithms and implementing them on different communication problems. In his MSc thesis, he worked on shaped reflector antenna synthesis and analysis method.
Delaram Sadat Ghadri received her bachelor degree from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, in 2016 in Electronics and Communication Engineering and MASc degree from University of Waterloo in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019. She is currently working as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada.
