MASc Oral Exam | Real Impact of CO2 Utilization: A Dynamic LCA Approach, by Majd Tabbara

You are invited to attend Majd Tabbara's MASc oral exam, where they will discuss their research into the environmental costs and benefits associated with the conversion of already-captured CO2 into final chemicals or energy products.

Abstract

Xiaoyuan Dou will discuss their research on self-assembled metal organic framework microflowers as polysulfides immobilizers for lithium sulfur batteries during their closed MASc oral exam.

You are welcome to attend Yue Niu's MASc oral exam, in which they will discuss their research of Cobalt-hexamine (HMT) metal-organic framework-derived bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and evolution reactions, which promises implmentation advantages for rechargeable Zinc-air batteries.

Please join the Department of Chemical Engineering on Friday, August 2, for a seminar by Dr. Yaser Abu-Lebdeh, Senior Research Officer at National Research Council of Canada (NRC). He will give an overview of the NRC’s battery technology research activities.

You are welcome to attend the oral defence portion of Maiwen Zhang's PhD comprehensive exam, in which they will discuss their research under supervisor Professor Aiping Yu.

You are welcome to attend the oral defence portion of Xuezhen Wang's PhD comprehensive exam, in which they will discuss their research under supervisor Professor Xianshe Feng.
