Multimedia Computer Presentation and Live Streaming Rooms
The department operates and maintains 6 multimedia computer aided presentation rooms. 5 rooms in E6 2022, 2024, 4002, 4022 and 5002 and one in DWE 2529.
E6 2022, 4002 and 5002 are conference rooms with a computer projection system and dedicated PCs. You can connect your own computer to the projector provided it has an HDMI outlet. A room camera and microphone is available for streaming live video and audio of the speaker and room participants to remote attendees via PC video conferencing software.
E6 2024, E6 4022 and DWE 2529 are lecture rooms with computer audio/video projection and a wireless microphone for in room and remote attendee projection and recording of the presenter. A dedicated touch screen podium computer with stylus/inking capabilities and AV output is connected to central and side projectors and room speakers. HDMI connections are available for connecting a guest computer to the projectors and speakers. All three rooms have a room camera for live streaming of your presentation via PC video conference software and a public address audio system that can be used with a lapel or ear wireless microphone available from E6 3024.
DWE 2529 is also a computer aided teaching facility with 60 Nexus workstations and 30 guest laptop wired/powered connections for students and 1 touch screen with stylus markup Nexus computer for the instructor.
