Nanotechnology research in Chemical Engineering

Conduct chemical engineering research at the nanoscale. In this collaborative program, you will work on research with a Chemical Engineering faculty member and gain perspective from other disciplines. 

Waterloo Engineering offers this collaborative program to Master of Applied Science (MASc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students. You may need to take additional courses to fulfil requirements in the nanotechnology field.

Access fellowships valued at $10,000. The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology offers competitive funding for the top students pursuing nanotechnology research.

Finding a supervisor

Engineering applicants to the collaborative nanotechnology program must be accepted under the supervision of a faculty member in one of the following departments:
