February Graduate Studies Seminar Series

Thursday, February 17, 2022 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Join us to learn more about the exciting research being conducted by masters students in the Chemical Engineering department.

To graduate, MASc students must complete a degree milestone by presenting one research seminar before submitting their thesis. This term's series of MASc seminars, which will be assessed by the presenters' supervisors and one member of the Graduate Research Council, will include the following:

Presenter Seminar

Seyedehsara Kamali, supervised by Professor Sandoval and Professor Ward

Recirculating aquaculture systems

Negin Bouzari, supervised by Professor Shahsavan

Self-Healing Zwitterionic Hydrogels for Soft Robotic Applications

Haoyu Fu, supervised by Professor Li

Novel Pyrrole Based Polymer Organic Semiconductor for Sensor, Transistor and Solar Cell Application
Daniel Afzal, supervised by Professor Li Exploring the effects of long carbamate chain on amine-based donor-acceptor polymers for sensor and solar cell application
Merlan Nurzhanov, supervised by Professor Li High-Efficiency Perovskite Solar Cells with EGTA Functionalized SnO2 Electron Transport Layer

All graduate students are welcome  - and encouraged! - to attend these seminars. Each student that attends the full hour of seminars, including those presenting, will receive credit for seminar attendance.
