Abstract :

This seminar focuses on observations and experiences gathered through almost three decades of involvement in Process Systems Engineering. In it, we’ll review several application areas of PSE, some practical development and implementation challenges, and some current trends in this space.

Biography:

Danielle Zyngier is a Principal Product Manager for AI across all Autodesk Water Lifecycle products. She is an Operations Research expert with over 20 years of experience consulting, developing and deploying OR, AI and ML software products in industry. Danielle has obtained 2 US patents and over 50 peer-reviewed publications on these topics (book chapters, journal articles and conference papers). Throughout her career, she has led technical teams in the development of AI/ML software, while also helping numerous companies across several industry verticals improve their operational performance and integrated operations through different strategies: from simple operational changes to the development, deployment and support of complex optimization, simulation, AI and ML tools. She has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from UFRJ/ COPPE (Brazil) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University (Canada).
