Thursday, June 20, 2019 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Join us to learn more about the exciting research being conducted by masters students in the Chemical Engineering department.

To graduate, MASc students must complete a degree milestone by presenting one research seminar before submitting their thesis. This term's series of MASc seminars, which will be assessed by the presenters' supervisors and one member of the Graduate Research Council, will include the following:

Presenter Seminar

Yiran Zhou, supervised by Professor Yim

Corneal Epithelial Cell Responses to Compressive Force

Arjun Dhillon, Supervised by Professor Pritzker

Modeling an All-Iron All-Soluble Redox Flow Battery

Sukrit Rajpal, supervised by Professor Gu

Optimization of Mucoadhesive Polymer Micelle Nanoparticle Synthesis and Formulations for Commercialization

Michelle Si, supervised by Professor  Gu

The Effectiveness of Photocatalysis on Reducing the Toxicity of Oil Sands Process-affected Water to Lemna Minor

Mariam Gad, supervised by Professor Pope

Graphene-wrapped silicon nanoparticles for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries

All graduate students are welcome  - and encouraged! - to attend these seminars. Each student that attends the full hour of seminars, including those presenting, will receive credit for seminar attendance.
