Join us to learn more about the exciting research being conducted by masters students in the Chemical Engineering department.
To graduate, MASc students must complete a degree milestone by presenting one research seminar before submitting their thesis. This term's series of MASc seminars, which will be assessed by the presenters' supervisors and one member of the Graduate Research Council, will include the following:
Mehrdad Khezrian , supervised by Professor Abukhdeir
|Study, analysis, and validation of a specific two-fluid model for dispersed multiphase flow|
Elizabeth Monte, supervised by Professor Abukhdeir
|An Open-Source Computational Multiphysics Package|
Chahat Aggarwal , supervised by Professor Abukhdeir
|Determination of Characteristic Transport Coefficients of Porous Media: A Diffuse Interface approach|
|Hanin Alkabbani, supervised by Professor Elkamel and Professor Zhu||Machine Learning-based Modelling with applications for forecasting regional wind power and air quality index.|
All graduate students are welcome - and encouraged! - to attend these seminars. Each student that attends the full hour of seminars, including those presenting, will receive credit for seminar attendance.
