Abstract:

This MASc defense will showcase the use of engineering and economics techniques to evaluate the viability and economics associated with producing and using electrolytic ammonia in Canada's food, energy, and trade sectors.
The thesis will discuss two contributions: a cost-benefit analysis involving Canada’s provinces, and an economic analysis exploring the use of taxes and subsidies in a Cournot model.
