Abstract:
The baculovirus expression vector system (BEVS) is used for producing recombinant proteins. The baculovirus Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) is the most used virus for the BEVS, yet the genome has not been fully characterized. A transfection-infection (TI) assay has been described, where the baculovirus genome can be efficiently scrutinized. This work aims to increase the throughput of the TI assay.
