You are welcome to attend Yue Niu's MASc oral exam, in which they will discuss their research of Cobalt-hexamine (HMT) metal-organic framework-derived bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and evolution reactions, which promises implmentation advantages for rechargeable Zinc-air batteries.

Xiaoyuan Dou will discuss their research on self-assembled metal organic framework microflowers as polysulfides immobilizers for lithium sulfur batteries during their closed MASc oral exam.

You are welcome to attend Amir Mowla's final PhD defence, in which they will discuss their research into the hydrodynamics of commercial ebullated bed reactors through a combination of experimental investigation and CFD modelling. 

The competition invites teams of up to 4 students to choose an important industry problem, and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact, before pitching the findings to a panel of judges on November 14th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding.
