Twenty engineering faculty members are being recognized with others across campus through the outstanding performance fund established by the university in 2005 to reward faculty members for outstanding contribution in teaching and scholarship.
The engineering recipients are Teresa Boake and Lola Shepherd of the School of Architecture; Ali Elkamel, Joao Soares and Christine Moresoli of chemical engineering; Donald Burn and Robert McKillop of civil and environment engineering; Samir Elhedhli of management sciences; Dayan Ban, Claudio Canizares, Ehab El-Saadany, Karim Karim and Magdy Salama of electrical and computer engineering; William Owen, Simarjeet Saini, Duane Cronin, William Melek, Steven Waslander and Serhiy Yarusevych of mechanical and mechatronics engineering; and Alexander Wong of systems design engineering.
