Graduate Student Drew Higgins wins Electrochemical Society Research Award

PhD student Drew Higgins has been named the recipient of the 2013 Electrochemical Society (ECS) Canadian Section Student Award for his research on nanostructured fuel cell and battery electrode materials, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Zhongwei Chen.

One of these awards is given each year to a graduate student at a Canadian University pursuing a PhD in an area of science or engineering in which electrochemistry is the primary consideration. Drew will receive the award at the annual meeting of the ECS Canadian Section taking place on November 23rd, in Montreal, QC, where he is invited to give a talk on his current research interests.
