a
PhD
candidate
supervised
by
Prof.
Frank
Gu,
has
been
awarded
a prestigious
Vanier
Canada
Graduate
Scholarship.
His
research
involves
the
application
of
gold
nano-particles for detection
and
identification
of pathogens
that
cause
infectious
disease.
His
research
could
eventually
enable rapid medical
diagnoses of
a
multitude
of
infectious
diseases
through
a
single
