Congratulations
to
Gregory
Lui
for
receiving
the
AECOM
Graduate
Scholarship
($5000)
in
Water
Research
from
the
Water
Institute!
He
is
one
of
five
graduate
students
at
the
University
of
Waterloo
to
receive
an
annual
scholarship
for
water-related
research.
Gregory
is
a
PhD
student
whose
research
involves
synthesizing
novel
photocatalytic
materials
that
can
be
used
in
renewable
waste-water
remediation
and
hydrogen
fuel
production.
His
work
will
lead
to
a
multifunctional
system
which
can
purify
waste
water
and
produce
hydrogen
fuel
or
electricity
simultaneously.
Gregory
Lui
is
also
a
recipient
of
OGS
and
Queen
Elizabeth
II
fellowship.
Gregory
studies
under
the
supervision
of
Dr.
Aiping
Yu
and
Dr.
Michael
Fowler.
