Park Reilly, who taught in the Department of Chemical Engineering between 1967 and 1988 and continued taking on graduate students long after, has passed away in his 100th year.
While Park was a well-known chemical engineer and statistician, he was most appreciated in the department for his leadership and his kindness. His strong positive influence on the department lasted for many years beyond his official teaching days, and it will continue for many more.
