after
many
years
of
inquisitive
thought,
dedicated
study,
and
impressive
self-discipline,
received
their
official
diplomas
at
the
University
of
Waterloo’s
Spring
Convocation
on
Saturday,
June
16th,
2018.
At
the
morning
ceremony,
126
undergraduate
Chemical
Engineering
students
donned
their
black
gown
before
receiving
their
academic
hood
and
Bachelor
of
Applied
Science
diploma.
The
evening
ceremony
saw
46
graduate
CHE
students
take
the
stage
for
their
graduation
honours.
The
department
of
Chemical
Engineering
hosted
a
lively
afternoon
convocation
reception
in
the
atrium
of
Engineering
6.
Faculty
and
staff
joined
the
new
graduates
and
their
friends
and
family
to
celebrate
the
2018
grads’
achievements
and
wish
them
well
for
the
future.
The
department’s
Graduate
Coordinator
Judy
Caron,
who
joined
the
event
to
share
in
the
excitement
of
the
day,
expressed
the
sentiments
of
the
entire
department:
“It’s
such
a
pleasure
to
see
our
students
celebrating
with
their
families
the
conclusion
of
their
studies
and
the
new
beginnings
that
come
with
this
milestone.”
