Linebacker decides to play for hometown team instead of pursuing opportunities in U.S.
WATERLOO — James Hinsperger has been weighing his options for months, trying to determine the best fit for a standout football player who's every bit as good in the classroom.
In the end, the place he'd been looking for was under his nose all along.
The Waterloo native, a senior linebacker at Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., has said 'thanks, but no thanks' to a handful of NCAA opportunities and later this year will attend the University of Waterloo on a combined athletic/academic scholarship. Click here to see the full story.
