Professor Chaitanya Swamy has been awarded a 2016 NSERC Discovery Accelerator Supplement (DAS) for his research on Algorithm Design in Strategic and Uncertain Environments. This is the second time he has received the award, the previous time being in 2010. In 2009, he was the recipient of an Ontario government Early Researcher Award.

Tor Myklebust is the recipient of a 2016 University of Waterloo Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies (Doctoral) designation.
