Congratulations to Conrad School's part-time Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) student and Entrepreneurial PhD Fellow Hasti Shwan on being featured by the University of Waterloo for his innovative work developing GeoSafe Climate.

Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in civil and environmental engineering, geospatial technologies, and infrastructure resilience, Hasti created GeoSafe Climate to help property owners, municipalities, engineers, planners, insurers, and developers better understand climate-related risks before making critical planning and development decisions.

The platform combines artificial intelligence, geospatial analytics, and environmental modelling to deliver property-scale insights into climate risks, natural hazards, and infrastructure vulnerability, empowering users to make more informed, resilient decisions.

Hasti's work exemplifies how Conrad School students combine research, entrepreneurship, and innovation to address complex global challenges and translate ideas into impactful ventures.
