Meet the fall 2019 Enterprise Co-op pitch winners

This fall term, Enterprise Co-op students pitched for prizes of $5,000 at the Ignition Week pitch competition. Each competing student had five minutes to pitch their venture to a panel of judges, followed by a three-minute question period. Meet the fall 2019 pitch winners!

E-Launch Awards

The E-Launch Awards are awarded to the winners of a pitch competition among non-engineering students in the E Co-op program. Up to five scholarships of $5,000 are awarded each term.

Aileen Agada, BeBlended

BeBlended is an online platform that connects black women with hairstylists that meet their haircare needs. BeBlended plans to close the gap in the North American hair care industry by providing a platform where black women can confidently find hair stylists that can do their hair. This platform will allow clients to search, book, and pay for their hair service while also allowing them to arte, review, and recommend each stylist they book.

Tic Toc Go will be a 99-page book from front to back and will be focused on using Lucas' lived experience with Tourette Syndrome in collaboration with medical professionals and a variety of other individuals with Tourette Syndrome, ranging from Neurologists to children.

Chadd Bauman, Circular Farm

A zero emission farm using biogas and hydroponic farming. We will combine a biogas digestor to a sea-container farm. It will reduce the agricultural industry’s footprint and provide consistent yields of food. Circular Farm will start small scale but can grow to mass scale.

Avro Life Sciences makes skin patches for generic drug delivery. We offer big pharma opportunities to bring new life to old drugs, as well as having multiple drugs in our internal pipeline in which we will own the whole process – lab bench to manufacturing.

Ox Head Studio is a multi-disciplinary business that operates three studios, As a fashion studio, as a media studio, as an architecture/design studio. Ox Head Studio’s is made up of Architecture students and individuals in the film industry, working together to deliver products and experiences with a clear motive: to provide a unique experiential quality to the art, music and film community.
