Are
you
passionate
about
the
environment?
Do
you
love
talking
about
your
program
to
friends
and
family?
Are
you
involved
in
the
Environment
and/or
Waterloo
community?
If
you
said
yes
to
these
questions, we
want
YOU
to
apply
to
be
an
Environment
(ENV)
Student
Ambassador!
The
primary
role
of
the
ENV Student
Ambassador
is
to share
their
experiences,
largely
at
Open
House
events,
which
cover
the
entire
Faculty
of
Environment.
Ambassadors
can
also
expect
to
represent
their
program
in
booths,
help
run
check-in
stations,
participate
in
presentations
and
panels, lead
tours, and contribute
to
surveys
and
focus
groups.
Please
note
that
this
role
is
expected
to
be
in-person for
the
Fall
2023 term.
As an ENV Student Ambassador, you must be able to commit to at least 20 hours of your time over the course of your contract (training hours included). In addition to creating memorable moments for our guests, you'll also receive valuable training on how to be an effective Ambassador, which goes beyond just this role. You'll improve your teamwork, public speaking, event planning, and marketing skills through this position.
Please email Jaime Fohkens if you have questions about this role.
