Alumni Office Hour: Lessons from Decades of Environmental Consulting

Derek Coleman is a PhD graduate (1974) from the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning. A pioneer in environmental policy in Ontario Planning, Derek started one of the first environmental consulting firms in the province in 1972- Ecologistics Ltd. Since then, he has completed more than 1,000 projects in Ontario and six other provinces over five decades.

FINCAPES project launch

Join us at the Flood Impacts, Carbon Pricing, and Ecosystem Sustainability (FINCAPES) project launch; an international research and teaching project in collaboration with Indonesian partners on climate-change adaptation and mitigation strategies in the country. This is an opportunity to learn more and get involved with the project as well as meet the project team and our Indonesian partners, whose first-hand experience with the fight against climate change is the inspiration for the program.

Earth Day Campus Clean-Up
