Alumni Gold Medal Award nominee
Geography and Aviation top student 2016
Nominated the top Geography and Aviation student in 2016, Chelsea-Anne was an excellent candidate for the Alumni Gold Medal. She performed extremely well academically in her classes as well as at the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre. On the most advanced Transport Canada examination in the program, she earned the highest score not only in her class, but in the history of University of Waterloo Aviation.
Some of her personal achievements and contributions to the University and community include:
- Volunteering at events like the Flight Centre Airshow, Aviation Fun Day and Toronto Careers in Aviation Exposition
- Being involved with the Women in Aviation event as the pilot assistant and then pilot and promoting the event on Rogers Daytime TV
- Featuring in many promotional videos, articles and advertisements for the Geography and Aviation program
Due to her skills, commitment and many accomplishments, Chelsea-Anne was hired by Sunwing Airlines as a First Officer candidate right after she graduated.
