Geography and Aviation Top Academic Achiever
“His deep commitment and drive for acquiring knowledge in his studies is admirable, since he views aviation not only as work, but as a way of life”, Dr. Su-Yin Tan describes Eric Chang after years of being his professor at the University of Waterloo. Eric’s work ethic and positive attitude towards life has been his constant motivator throughout school, and he is graduating with an impressive 86.68% cumulative average. The Geography and Aviation program takes passion and determination due to the heavy workload from both academic courses and flight training, which Eric managed excellently.
His time spent volunteering for the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre is another example of his commitment to the industry, and he has made many great connections along the way because of it. His high energy and personable skills will continue to make him an honourable pilot.
Eric plans to continue his path of flying, and is hoping to join the cadet program with Sunwing Airlines this year.
