Amber Silver, a Ph.D. candidate from the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, University of Waterloo received a Ph.D Presentation award at the Joint Annual Meeting of ELDAAG and CAGONT, the Ontario and Eastern Lakes divisions of the Canadian and American geographical associations. Her paper was entitled "Now we understand what 'community' really means: Exploring the positive and negative impacts of disaster on place attachments.” Congratulations, Amber!
