At the recent CAG Annual Meeting, Francesca Cardwell, a Ph.D. candidate from the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, received the Student Presentation Award from the Geography of Health and Health Care Specialty Group. Francesca's paper, entitled "They were dropping like flies: Exploring Environmental Health Risks in Youth Team Sport in Ontario" explores the knowledge, attitudes and practices of youth team sport users and providers related to the links between environmental change, sport and health.
