Waterloo Wellness Resource Database

The Waterloo Wellness Resource Database provides a large span of resources on and off campus (e.g., House of Friendship, hospitals).

Day cares on campus

Bright Starts Co-operative Early Learning Centre: Bright Starts is located on the North Campus of the University of Waterloo and provides priority for enrolment of available childcare spaces to faculty, staff and students of the University of Waterloo.

International Student Resources

The Student Success Office has a listing of resources available for International students that are focused on adapting to life in Canada and UWaterloo. Resources cover topics including: immigration information, English language supports, health insurance, winter in Waterloo, documents for your family, and more!

Mitacs Training

Through the EDGE platform, Mitacs Training provides professional skills development courses for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Workshops are available throughout the year and are designed to complement hands-on research skills and experience.

LinkedIn Learning

All University of Waterloo students have access to web-based training from LinkedIn Learning, which offers over 13,000 online courses to help you learn software, creative, IT and business skills. Just-in-time training offers unlimited access available 24/7. Get started with LinkedIn Learning.

Accelerator Centre

The Accelerator Centre is one of several startup incubators in the Waterloo region that can support graduate student entrepreneurs to turn their research into a startup. It provides entrepreneurs and new companies with access to coaching, mentoring, professional management advice, and even services, such as accounting, IP management, high-speed internet access and vital business networks.

More Feet on the Ground Training

This is a free online mental health education program that teaches participants to Recognize, Respond, and Refer individuals experiencing mental health problems on campus.
