Centre for Teaching Excellence

CTE supports graduate students at Waterloo through certificate programs, workshops, one-on-one consultations about teaching and teaching dossiers, and classroom observations. CTE also offers two certificate programs in teaching: the Fundamentals of University Teaching program and the Certificate in University Teaching. 

For Teaching Assistants, CTE offers training and resources, which includes a TA Handbook and a series of asynchronous LEARN modules.
