Don't know what to do with those earbuds that have stopped working? or which bin to put your pens and pencils in? University of Waterloo's Sustainability Office has just rolled out some new e-waste bins across campus, expanding on the program run by Central Stores that diverts over 30 tonnes of waste each year!
The new e-waste bins can collect your used writing utensils, ink and toner cartridges, cell phones, cables and computer peripherals.
You can find one of these new bins conveniently located just inside the entrance of Davis Centre Library. There are also bins located on the lower level of the Student Life Centre and at the front desk of Village 1 residences. Learn more about waste diversion programs at University of Waterloo.
