Biographical sketch: Joseph Boyd Cressman (17 October 1896-19 July 1957) was the son of Menno C. Cressman and Mary Ann Nahrgang. He studied at Goshen College and the University of Michigan. He taught at Goshen College and served as Librarian there in the 1940s. He also was involved in his parent's business. He was an alderman for the City of Kitchener at the time of his accidental death in a collision with a train while on holidays.
Custodial history: Photocopies made by Mennonite Archives of Ontario in late 1980s; Benjamin Eby article transferred from Milton Good Library in 2011.
Scope and content: The fonds consists of diaries, two research papers, and a copy of correspondence with Harold Bender, the Dean of Goshen College.
