Series 3: Amish and Their Neighbours research notes

Scope and content: These files contain photocopies of original documents from the National Library and Archives, the Ontario Archives and the University of Toronto Archives. Often there are typescript transcriptions prepared by Roth, as well as explanatory notes explaining the significance and relationship of the documents.

  1. 1970s Research on Wilmot Amish Settlement by Orland Gingerich, Mark & Glennis Yantzi and Lorraine Roth. Includes Samuel S. Wilmot Survey; the Order in Council of 1822, the Christian Nafziger obituary of 1836.
