Entrance Scholarship Applications Now Open

Those interested in pursuing Music as their Major or Joint Major studies at UWaterloo -- take note! 

University applicants can apply for an Entrance Scholarship in Music!  Many avenues are available. Choose at least one from:

• submitting compositions,
• to original writing on music topics,
• to auditioning on an instrument. 

APPLICATIONS for 2026 are reviewed on the following dates. These are in-person appointments whenever possible in order to showcase ability more effectively. See website for details and contact information.

• Friday, February 6 or
• Saturday, March 28

Both dates are an Open House event of the Department of Music with tours of our facilities, residence and tours of main campus available as well. 

Come and meet current music students, faculty and staff.  Our Academic Advisor is available to answer specific questions about the various options of our music program.
