Recitals

At the end of each term, many of the University of Waterloo’s music students present recitals in the Conrad Grebel University College Chapel. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Recitals take place at 12:30 pm.
Chapel Choir

The Chapel Choir performs during the Fall and Winter terms in the Conrad Grebel chapel services on alternate Wednesdays, beginning at 4:30 pm. Additionally, the choir performs at local churches and other area venues.
Noon Hour Concert Series

Noon Hour Concert series, sponsored by the University of Waterloo Music Department at Conrad Grebel University College, presents performances by local and international talent. These free concerts are presented in the fall and winter terms and feature classical, jazz, world music, and contemporary works. Noon Hour Concerts take place on most Wednesdays, 12 NOON to 1:00 pm, in the Conrad Grebel University College Chapel during September to March. Please not the time change from previous seasons.

Ensemble Concerts

The Department of Music has eight ensembles: University Choir, Chamber Choir, Chapel Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Instrumental Chamber Ensembles, Orchestra, Gamelan Ensemble, and a Vocal Techniques class. Each of these ensembles presents one concert at the end of the term (with the exception of Chapel Choir, which performs throughout the term and the Vocal Techniques class).
