For those of you planning to graduate in the near future, note a few important deadlines and special events.
1. Inform UWaterloo
If you are planning to complete your degree requirements soon, please note the deadline to the Registrar’s Office.
- June 30 deadline for the spring (June 2026) convocation ceremony. This is new (used to be March 1).
***There are now 2 ways to to apply depending on your situation: most undergraduate students will be able to submit their application in Quest, while others will need to use the Application to Graduate webform. - TBA deadline (~August) for the fall (October) convocation ceremony.

Note: If you are not sure if you have met all of the requirements for your MUSIC plan, make an appointment with the music Academic Advisor. If you have any questions about the above information, please don’t hesitate to contact our office!
2. Inform Grebel
In addition to the UWaterloo Intent to Graduate form, the music department and Conrad Grebel ask that you submit your graduation information to us as well.
Please take a moment to fill out this form by February 20:
- Tell us what your likely future plans are (optional).
- Leave your contact information so we can stay in touch!
- Indicate your intent if you wish to attend Conrad Grebel’s special convocation service - only once a year in May (optional) - see below.
Please fill in the Convocation Form regardless of whether you plan to participate in Grebel’s Convocation event or not.
3. Conrad Grebel Graduation Celebration (optional)
As a Music or Church Music and Worship student, you may have spent a great deal of time at Grebel and we consider you part of our student community. We would be delighted if you could come and celebrate your accomplishment with us! This celebration is for all students who have or are completing studies and plan to graduate in Fall, Winter, Spring, or next Fall,you are invited to participate in the Theatre of the Arts (ML), with a reception to follow.
Although you will receive your official degree at the University of Waterloo convocation in June or October, the College holds a special celebration to honour students who have been a part of the Grebel community. You are welcome to invite your family members and any other significant person in your life to attend.
