Our Convocation Celebration will take place on YouTube premiering at 2 pm (eastern standard time) on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Join your graduating class for a zoom reception. Receptions are held either before or after the Convocation celebration and give each group a chance to connect together more informally.
All students intending to Graduation from University of Waterloo and Conrad Grebel must complete BOTH the University of Waterloo Intention to Graduate form AS WELL AS the Conrad Grebel Convocation Form by March 1, 2021.
All students are asked to submit a video for the Convocation Celebration - Details can be found on the submission page - before March 31, 2021
To be considered for or to participate in the selection of Grebel's 2021 undergraduate Valedictorian, you must submit Grebel's Convocation form by March 1. On March 3, you will be notified of participating undergrads for the purpose of nominating a valedictorian. Nominations will close on March 5.
An email invitation will be sent to you, and those you indicate on your Convocation Form, in mid March. You can forward that invitation to however many friends and family you wish.
On May 16 the Convocation Premiere event will begin at 2pm on the Grebel YouTube Chanel. You will also be invited to join in a zoom reception with your graduating class, details of which will be sent to you.
We are looking forward to celebrating your achievements with you.
If someone you know is planning to graduate and they haven’t received an email from Pam Bartel (Residence/Associate); Claudia Van Decker (Music), Brendah Ndagire (PACS), Seth Ratzlaff (MPACS) or Birgit Moscinski or Rebekah Smoot-Enns (MTS), have them contact their respective Administrative Assistant or let one of us know to contact them.
