Are you looking for an exciting camp adventure?
Ontario Mennonite Music Camp is planning for an in person, 2 week camp experience at Conrad Grebel University College again in 2024. Campers will experience many of the usual camp activities, such as campfires, ensembles, recreation games, and musical productions, all in a safe, cautious environment. Camp is available for students who have finished grade 6-12, with a Leader-In-Training program available for students who have finished grades 11 or 12. We hope youll join us for OMMC 2024!
Registration for 2024 Camp will open November 1, 2023
Please Note:
The University of Waterloo has suspended its proof of vaccination requirements for entry to campus. However, as has been the case throughout the pandemic, the evolution of the virus and the course of disease activity are difficult to predict. If the situation changes, it may become necessary to bring back requirements for proof of vaccination on short notice.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that all OMMC campers be vaccinated unless they have a medical exemption. When living in a congregated situation (Ie: sharing meal times, class times, activities) this is an important public health measure.
Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect our families, communities and ourselves against COVID-19. Evidence indicates that vaccines are effective at preventing serious outcomes, such as severe illness, hospitalization and death due to COVID-19.
Note that requirements can change quickly, so we will follow all UWaterloo and Ontario summer camp requirements. If your camper has a medical exemption, please let us know. Thank you for your support.
2024 camp dates: August 11 - 23
If you have any questions or would like to be added to our email list, please contact us at Ontario.Mennonite.Music.Camp@uwaterloo.ca.
All Covid precautions recommended by the Province will be followed, and Grebel has had extensive experience with housing and feeding students safely over the past 4 years.
Schedules and programs will be modified for safety as needed. We plan to return to double occupancy rooms, barring unforeseen circumstances. Other decisions still need to be made as additional Public Health guidelines are announced, but we will keep all registrants informed.
Registration will open on November 1, 2023. Campers will not be considered completely registered until the deposit of $250 per camper is paid. We will continue to accept applications until August 1st, but we will not be able to guarantee a spot will be available! The remainder of the fee will be due at camper drop-off. Financial assistance is available on a case by case basis. Email OMMC for more details. Campers who register prior to April 15 will receive a discounted price.
