August - Meet your academic advisor Live Session

This Live Session will help you learn about academic advising in the Faculty of Mathematics and how academic advisors can support your academic journey. The session includes a prepared presentation and a live Question and Answer (Q&A) session.

July - International Students Live Session

The Live Session for students studying at Waterloo on a study permit. The session covered:

  • Immigration documents (passport, visa, electronica travel authorisation)
  • Study permits
  • Co-op work permits
  • Working in Canada
  • Post-graduation work permits (PGWP)
  • pre-arrival information
  • entry to Canada requirements such as quarantine
  • activities and workshops for our international community during term
  • next steps for the rest of summer

June - Course Selection Live Sessions

The Math Undergraduate Office hosted course selection Live Sessions on June 14 and 15 to assist you with the course selection process. The Live Sessions covered:

  • discussion about online and on-campus courses
  • criteria for admission to advanced sections
  • a course to help you prepare for your studies in Math (MTHEL 99)
  • transfer credits
  • upcoming deadlines you need to know
  • a question and answer (Q&A) session
