This web page combines the key information, deadlines and tips that you will need to successfully begin your university career at Waterloo in September 2020. Please note that dates/deadlines on this website are subject to change due to the fluidity of the COVID-19 situation.

June 1, 2020, is the last day to accept your offer and begin studies in Fall 2020.
Submit your Residence Community Ranking Form and non-refundable deposit by June 1, 2020, at 11.59 pm.
Register and attend a New Math Student Webinar to answer some of your pressing questions. Sessions on Monday are at 9 am, 12 noon, 4 pm and 7 pm. You only need to attend one webinar as the content is the same for each one.

From 9 am on June 17, 2020, until 4:30 p.m. on June 22, 2020, you will need to select your courses for Fall 2020 and choose which co-op sequence you wish to have. Choosing your co-op sequence is first-come-first-served but course selection is not (you just need to complete it by the deadline!)
Monday, June 22, 2020, at 4.30 pm is the final day for course selection for Fall 2020 and to choose your co-op sequence. If you miss this deadline, you will be able to add courses yourself beginning on the course enrollment date, Thursday, July 30, 2020. At this time, it may be quite difficult to find open classes that are conflict-free for the fall term courses you wish to take.
The LEARN module for Waterloo Ready is now available. Sign in to LEARN with your username@uwaterloo.ca email address and WatIAM password. You'll see Waterloo Ready - Math in your LEARN Courses and Communities. If you haven't set up your official uwaterloo.ca email through Office 365, you'll need to do so before accessing LEARN.
You can make changes to your schedule and electives in Quest beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Adding courses, including swapping to a different section of the same course, can be done up until 11.59 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2020.
The due date to be 'fees arranged' for your Fall 2020 tuition fees is August 25, 2020. Late fees will begin on August 26, 2020. If you have questions about your tuition fees then contact the Student Centre at askthecentre@uwaterloo.ca
Tuesday, September 8, 2020, is the first day of class for Fall 2020. Check your schedule to make sure you follow your Tuesday schedule and even scout your room locations ahead of time so you know where your classes will be.
Monday, September 21, 2020, is the last day for all students to add classes to their schedule and/or swap to a different section of the same class.
Between September 24 and October 6, 2020, you will need to log into Quest to complete your course selection for your Winter 2021 courses. Please note that your Fall 2020 course selection was a special process as you are new students. Moving forward, course selection for the next term is done through Quest. Please note that you cannot do course selection on the mobile version of Quest.
Monday, September 28, 2020, is the last day to drop classes and receive 100% tuition refund. Beginning on September 29, 2020, you will receive a WD on your transcript if you decide to drop from a course and 50% tuition refund for that course (if applicable).
