Waterloo Pharmacy Alumni - Join us for our in-person Speed Networking Night on Wednesday, March 27 from 6:30-8pm and share your experiences with our students.
This new event will bring together our 3rd year class with pharmacy alumni from across all practice settings and cohorts. Designed to support our students’ leadership learning and development, the event supports our Pharm 391* leadership development course.
We look forward to seeing you at what will be an exciting evening for both alumni and students.
*PHARM 391 is a newly developed leadership seminar course, which is mandatory for third year PharmD students. The course was designed with the key principle that anyone can lead regardless of background, position, or title. Leadership skills are considered a core competency for all pharmacists and important skill for all student pharmacists to learn as they focus on their self-development.
The addition of a Speed Networking Event to the leadership course this year aligns with our belief that leadership development requires many teachers from whom students can learn and interact. Pharmacy students often share that they want to spend more time with Waterloo Pharmacy Alumni and hear about your career and leadership journeys.
